As The Wharf Tavern is perched right on the water’s edge, Kinsale’s iconic harbour is your breath-taking backdrop when dining in Cork. Once you’ve stepped aboard, you can select from a wide range of cocktails, wines, whiskeys, specialty coffees and craft beers. You can either enjoy them in the comfort of our beautiful bar or take them out to our sheltered terrace and have them al-fresco. When you’ve successfully whetted your appetite, you can enjoy some of the incredible food that comes from our kitchen. Our large team of industry-leading chefs use the finest locally-sourced produce to craft menus that perfectly balance new dishes with old classics. The Wharf Tavern is one of the few places in Kinsale offering outdoor dining - and with a sea view as an added bonus! The Wharf Tavern is popular with locals throughout the week, especially the carvery lunch between 12.30 and 2.30pm. An extensive menu is served between 12 noon and 9pm and has a wide selection from light bites to a full dinner. Fresh seafood and shellfish are a specialty… both the mussels and the seafood chowder are particularly popular. There’s also a wide choice of coffees, teas (including herbal & fruit teas) and delicious scones, pastries and muffins served.
